Description:
This will be a two-to-four-hour celebratory event honoring
the 1995 T.W. Josey Eagles’ State Championship football
team. 2025 marks the 30-year anniversary of that historic
season, where the Eagles finished with a perfect record of
15-0. The event will feature local community leaders who
have made an impact on the CSRA community as well as members
of that historic championship team who still serve as
shining examples of what happens when hope meets
determination and the unequivocal will to overcome. The
event will also mark the official release of the 2025
documentary provisionally titled “The Mighty Eagles,” which
will be a feature length documentary film about the impact
the aforementioned championship season had on T.W. Josey
High School and the surrounding C.S.R.A. community.
Attendees:
There will be 250-300 guests in attendance at the live event
and an unlimited number of virtual attendees via live stream
broadcast via social media and the official website (joseyeagles.com).
Special invited attendees will include members of the 1995
T.W. Josey Championship Football Team and guests, select
members/leaders of the CSRA community as well as local media
personalities.
Venue:
The event will be held at the Augusta Hyatt
House in the elegant penthouse ball room, which is located
on the top floor with roof access, a full bar and a
beautiful view of the historic downtown Augusta skyline
along the Savannah River.
